A GOL Airlines, the largest airline in Brazil, resumes the Salvador – Campina Grande route. Starting today, the Company will adapt its services in the city known for having the “Greatest São João in the World”, connecting it to GOL's flight distribution center in Bahia, further reinforcing the importance of connectivity from the interior to the main capitals of Brazil.

Today, Campina Grande (CPV), considered one of the main industrial, technological and cultural centers in the Northeast, starts to communicate through non-stop flights with the international airport of Salvador (SSA), one of the ten busiest in Brazil, on six round trips per week: from Monday to Saturday.

As of March 26, 2023, flights will depart from São Paulo – Congonhas, with a stopover at the airport in the capital of Bahia.

The Salvador – Campina Grande route favors both corporate passengers and leisure travelers, as they will be able to quickly connect with GOL's main HUB'S: São Paulo (CGH and GRU), Rio de Janeiro (SDU), and Brasília ( BSB).

The new operations only reinforce the Company's purpose of connectivity, connecting the municipality of Paraíba to all parts of Brazil from the base in Salvador.

The inaugural Salvador – Campina Grande flight was attended by the mayor of the municipality of Paraíba, Bruno Cunha Lima, and local authorities, in addition to Marcos Almeida and Matheus Motta, GOL's Commercial Manager and Airport Planning and Infrastructure Specialist, respectively.

Operations on this new route began with a celebratory tone, so much so that special speeches were given in the departure lounges of both airports. On both legs, Customers received a GOL luggage tag as a gift.

Connectivity with Brazil and the world is a differential of the new route that connects Campina Grande to the capital of Bahia.

From Salvador (SSA), GOL's flight distribution center, Customers have access to a wide national and international network provided by both GOL and its partner companies, with more than 35 destinations to choose from. Furthermore, passengers can earn miles and redeem tickets through the Smiles loyalty program.

Flights between Campina Grande and Salvador will be operated with the modern Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 186 seats.
